Back-story: I’m an obsessive TV geek. A few days ago I was in HMV trying to figure out which films I should buy, when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the Seinfeld logo on the front of a DVD, and absolutely filled me drawers. In the half-second between seeing it and reading the cover properly, I had visions of every episode of the show being out, I saw myself watching it without the Paramount Comedy Channel logo plastered over the top-right corner of the screen, I wondered if there’d be any extras on the discs... Maybe there’d be commentaries like on the Simpsons box sets, or more out-takes like the ones in The Clip Show that aired before the last ever episode... And it literally knocked me off my feet! I was so surprised to see it that I actually stumbled backwards! And I was excited, dammit! I’m still waiting for Quantum Leap and Alien Nation and NYPD Blue and Prisoner Cell Block H to come out, while seeing shittle like Space Precinct filling up the shelves, and here was one of the greatest sit-coms in the history of mankind just waiting for me! And then I walked to the shelf and saw this turd staring back at me:
