Two personal entries in a row... This could be a record. Prepare to be fascinated by minor details important to no-one but me, from a life that isn’t yours. My right wrist has been getting more painful recently, and I’ve had to cut back again on anything wrist-related. Both my wrists were bandaged for a few years because of weakness, then three years ago my left wrist improved enough to go without bandages altogether. My right wrist stayed the same until recently, and I figured its decline was just part of the general downturn in my health. But today I remembered that when my left wrist was improving there came a time when bandaging it was too painful, because on a stronger wrist the bandages were applying too much pressure. So today I took my bandages off my right wrist for a half hour or so, and the pain really improved. I actually managed to wrap a present and make my bed without bandages! My theory now is that my right wrist is finally getting back to normal. I’m going to slowly build up the amount of activity I do unbandaged and see how it goes. I’m trying to be practical and pessimistic about it, but it’s always exciting to see improvement. This could actually be it! No more random strangers asking me what I’ve done to my wrist! No more masturbation-related jokes from friends who should know by now I’ve heard them all! No more strange looks from the pharmacist when I order ten metres of Tubigrip! Oh, and no more pain. That’d be good too.
